The PQ Series is designed to maximise the amount of solar energy generated, stored and used within the property. Excess solar generation can be directed into the EQ5000 battery bank for use later in the day, helping to reduce grid consumption and maximise solar self-consumption.
The system can also be configured around compatible time-of-use electricity tariffs, allowing batteries to be charged during lower-cost periods and discharged when grid electricity is more expensive.
Whole-Home Backup Capability
With an integrated 63A bypass and backup switchover of less than 4ms, the PQ Series provides a powerful platform for whole-home backup installations when designed and installed accordingly.

The Fox ESS PQ Series is a powerful next-generation single-phase hybrid solar and battery storage system, combining high-output hybrid inverter technology with scalable EQ5000 LFP battery storage.
Available with 5kW, 8kW, 10kW or 12kW hybrid inverter options and a choice of 2 to 6 x EQ5000 battery modules, the system can be configured to suit a wide range of residential energy requirements.
Designed for high solar generation, large household loads and increased energy independence, the PQ Series supports up to 200% PV oversizing, multiple MPPTs and high-current solar panels. Its modular stackable battery design also makes it easy to increase storage capacity as energy requirements grow.

Heated & Non-Heated Battery Compatibility
Mixed Battery Configurations
Heated and non-heated battery versions can be used together within the same compatible EQ battery system.
For example:
A non-heated master can be connected to heated slave modules.
A heated master can be connected to non-heated slave modules.
However, if any battery module within the system does not support heating, the heating function will be disabled for the entire battery system.
